Meet the photographer
Hi, I'm Jaymee!
I’m Jaymee — a self-proclaimed professional hobbyist and passion-project enthusiast. I’m a Gladstone-based photographer and designer with a lifelong love for creativity and storytelling. What began as a teenage hobby quickly grew into something much bigger — a way to capture real moments, honest emotion, and the beauty of life as it unfolds. Today, I feel incredibly grateful to call this my work.

Where my passion began
Creativity has always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve always been the kind of person to dive headfirst into new ideas - passionate, detail-oriented, creative, and determined to bring a vision to life. When I was 15, my parents gifted me my first DSLR camera, and that’s where everything truly began. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong love for storytelling through imagery, and this new medium of expression.
That passion eventually led me to study graphic design at university, deepening my understanding of visual storytelling and intentional composition — skills that now shape the way I photograph every session.
The heart behind my work
Photography, for me, has never been about perfection. It’s about connection, emotion, and capturing moments that feel real. I’m drawn to the in-between — the movement, the quiet glances, the laughter that wasn’t planned. Capturing you and your loved ones exactly as you are, authentically.
My goal is always to create a relaxed, comfortable space where you can simply be yourselves. Because when you feel at ease, the most meaningful images naturally follow. I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself to get a laugh from you - I promise you'll feel comfortable and supported in front of the lens with me.
My goal as your photographer is to document your moments with care, intention, and an honest eye for emotion.
